We provide geotechnical engineering for a variety of projects and situations. Whether it is slope stability, shoreline and seawall design, or subsurface investigation to determine soil bearing capacity.
We have the expertise to perform assessments and provide recommendations to find cost-effective solutions to complex site geological conditions.

PEI also has a great deal of expertise and experience in hydrological investigations and aquifer studies. We have designed well systems from residential capacity to 12-inch municipal wells producing 1,000 gpm. This includes all the field investigation, aquifer testing, and analysis required for permitting these groundwater sources.
Geotechnical Expertise
PEI and our geotechnical team often get called when site conditions for conventional foundations systems are not feasible. Our expertise and experience in local soil conditions allows us to work with architects and contractors to find cost-effective solutions to challenging sites. This work has included conventional pile foundations, helical piles, over-dig and engineered fill systems, and integration of retaining systems into the building design.
